Join us at the Courthouse Plaza in downtown Lexington, KY as United Campus Workers of Kentucky join with Black Lives Matter to protest ongoing racial injustice and police violence, including the continued lack of justice for Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, David McAtee, Elijah McClain, and so many others.

This week, we stand beside Black Lives Matter as a workers union to show our solidarity and commitment to fighting for racial equity and defunding the police. Not a union member? No problem; all are welcome to join in.

We will start with half an hour of initial speakers, followed by two hours of marching. Please wear masks and be mindful of the safety of others while gathering in protest.
